You step into a seatless theatre right after you get past the Mezzanine exhibit.
In this theatre, you will find a short film narrating the history of Rockefeller center and NBC playing on a loop.
You can either wait to watch this short film or walk straight to the elevators to reach the other observatory decks.
However, if the theatre area gets full, you will have to wait for 10-15 minutes, as only a limited number of people can get on the elevator simultaneously.
